The old tried and true* rule stands tall in the face of criticism again -- once you lose a game, you open yourself up to all this crap. Texas lost in Lubbock - period.
The only way to avoid the controversy is to run the table (and be in a major conference). As soon as you lose, your argument weakens drastically.
Screw Texas, I feel no pity for them. They should have played better pass D, and they wouldn't have anything to worry about.
After the dust settles and the burnt-orange tears have faded, OU has a chance for National Title #8 right in front of them. I love it!!!
*Penn St in '94 and Auburn in '04 have legit cases IMO
