Do the coaches try that Lendy-to-MLB experiment again, or do we stick with Balogun in the middle?

In very limited time, I'd say he looked great -- didn't get out of position, made one nice TFL and was a few yards from an INT on a tipped ball.

Maybe now we'll see why the coaches thought he was a bust :O

Thoughts?

Is Box out for sure?

I'd think against Misery we play a lot of 5 DBs and 2 LBs, so may not need him except in short yardage?

Any chance Reynolds back for the bowl game?

It was Nic Harris, not Lendy. And that was a disaster that shattered Harris' confidence, which lingered for weeks.

They'll stick with Balogun. If anything, he's about where he should be at this point. He was brought in late in recruiting to provide depth. I don't think anyone ever thought he would be a starter.

You're right Rhino - my bad, it was Nic.

I'd have to think 'no way' on RR, and Box's deal -- even if it's a sprain -- I wouldn't think he could play.

He actually looked pretty solid at the end of the game last night. Looked like a ball hawk. Box is probably out around six weeks, according to Stoops in his news conference today.

Any chance Reynolds back for the bowl game? Stoops said Box's injury is similar to English's injury, so he'll be out for at least 3 or 4 weeks. Probably done for the year.

Reynolds won't be back until the summer probably.

All I know is that it sure was nice to see a #10 again back at linebacker.

Was Balogun in the middle? I thought I saw Lewis in the middle on a couple of plays and Balogun outside. I'd rather see Lewis outside and please, no more Nic in the middle. That experiment gave KU most of their big plays for the year - not all Nic's fault, it just seemed to mess up everyone.

I thought I saw us dropping Beal back into a linebacker position on several occassions...anyone else notice this?
