I had forgotten, and now remember just how pissed off I am about the cheap shot that took Box out of the game (and probably the season).
Having played and coached football, I am 100% convinced that the "block" on Box was just about as cheap as they come. There are legal "cheap" shots, and this may be legal (according to the letter of the law), but cheap nonetheless.
I know I wasn't the only fan in Sooner land that had the "OH crap, texas all over again" feeling when he went down, but not long after, that thought was replaced with the "Balogun, where did you come from....thank you Lord!" thoughts.
Thinking back to another time we had a #10 playing MLB....turned out pretty good that year.
