I can only imagine how crappy that field is going to look next weekend. Today it was horrible for the Mizzouri/Kansas game. When are the Big 12 Leaders going to realize that it's not a good idea to have championships decided in a climate that is going to be freezing cold and sloppy most of the time? I realize having the game in Houston every year is an advantage for Texas teams, but I'd rather go there than Kansas City in November anytime.

Amen. We are attempting to send someone to the BCS game in a warm weather climate and we get ready by playing in frigid temperatures. Pretty freakin' goofy.

It's football, so what if the weather's bad.

If UT gets the nod over us, this will help even things out a bit between Mizzou and UT (especially since Mizzou had to play on that surface already and know what it will be like).

I have to agree about KC. If the Big 12 North absolutely has to host a game (It seems like the SEC east always hosts their CC game in Atlanta) then it should be in St. Louis in the Dome. Houston and San Antonio may be too far south for the North fans, but with JerryWorld opening as well as the Big 12 offices in Dallas, there's no reason to for the Big 12 to have a December CC game outdoors in Arrowhead. I still think the only reason the Big 12 throws KC a bone with the CC game is because they moved their offices to Dallas.

December actually....sometimes frigid...sometimes not....but it should be played during the day...around 2:00pm....not at NIGHT!!

Absolutely agree! The weather in KC is dicey from mid-November on. I love Arrowhead Stadium but would rather worry about the opponent than frostbite. It's not good for the teams or the fans.

Football used to be played on dirt in any weather before domes were even technologically possible. Keep it in Kansas City every other year or 2.

Play it in Texas. The North can have it back when they start pulling their weight.
