I couldn't agree with you more.

I think a lot of people (casual fans that is) will get a kick out of it if the signs are fliying over head, and it will cause a little buzz in the papers, but truthfully, that will not be enough to overcome the gravity of the situation if OU comes away with another impressive victory again.

It is an absolute slap to the people of Oklahoma though that they have to put up with this.

1300 foot tops is not getting you a fly over. The icing level is also at the base today. A single engine banner tow plane would not be up no chance.

MM, they do not understand manners or general decency.

OU is Texas' super bowl. They won their super bowl, then lost focus and not even UT refs picking up flags could limp them by Tech. That's why Mack Brown has 1 more Conference Championship than a guy working a Jiffy Lube. Conversely, Oklahoma is about winning championships.......grinding and grinding, game by game. OU is everyone's super bowl and it is a grind. But Stoops does a good job of keeping them focused on the end result. Championships. Stoops has 5 times more Big XII Conference Championships than all the 11 other coaches combined.

It is what it is.
