I've watched LSU a couple times this season and they were just terrible. Do you guys think they are gonna be able to right the ship next season or are they gonna fade into Bolivia? Also what are the chances Miles finishes up his contract in LSU?

Regardless of what I think of him, Houston Nutt has done a very good job at Mississippi his first year. He's beaten the national champs of the past two seasons, both in away games.

I wonder if Les is wishing he'd have gotten that Michigan job? And if WVU wishes Rodriguez hadn't bailed after all...?

I was thinking Miles was going to be getting fired - then I realized again he won the Crystal last year.... somehow

I think Miles has one more year to get a QB or he is toast...

that's the key - lsu is horrible at QB this year. It's lester's job to recruit a QB, but I don't necessarily think that he has done a bad job of coaching this year.

Nothing that stands out says he did a terrible job... I don't think he will get canned but two more years like this and he would... So he has a lot ridding on that Freshman that was playing today...

Miles is not the problem in Baton Rouge. Last year everybody here loved him but now they're tyin' the noose. Having a color-blind qb doesn't help matters but LSU has no defense. I doubt they'll be much better defensively next year but they have a verbal from Russell Shepard who could certainly help offensively...no matter where he plays. Les ain't goin' no where.

Another point to be made about Miles and his Tigers.
They booted the starting QB and get to go bowling in the sub bowls. Stoops booted the starting QB and we still make it to a BS bowl game.
People down here in LA still wonder why I am an OU fan. It is hard for the band wagon fans to understand it.

My brother lives in Monroe,la and is a big LSU fan and OU and called after the game and said he started rooting for Ark so maybe they'd fire Lester the Molester, another friend raised in Baton Rouge but played Fullback at Kentucky U also wants Smiles Miles gone. I warned them that after Sabans players were gone it would turn into mediocracy. HE'll win games he should but lose some he shouldn't.

LSU will always be a team, just like Oklahoma.

As far as a "preseason contender" as far as total greatness, no chance.

:les: If Les doesn't right the ship soon, his kookiness won't be so cute and they'll run him outta Baton Rouge on a rail.

I'll like seeing Les get Nutt in his face every year.
