There's only ONE Oklahoma.

Across the Country they know who we are. After last week with Tech, even the casual, come-lately fans know who we are. We have a proud tradition in College football. Neither whining nor Facebook is a part of it.

Play the game, let the chips fall where they may and CONTINUE the proud tradition that is OU football.

So you all are saying that youd rather NOT try and take over gameday and show a lot of support for our team in a road game?

Cam

Show support FOR OU, not against UT or for TT. IMO, there's a difference.

The only thing that's going to happen tomorrow to sway voters is going to happen on the field.

Show up at Gameday? Yes.
Support our team for a road game? Yes.

Join an aggie-esque facebook group dedicated to holding signs featuring the score of a game we just played because "they did it first"? Not just no, but HELL no.

And McCain was right in only excepting government funds to counter Obama's 600 trillion.

When it comes to a political contest, sometimes the high road will get you third place in the BCS.

It may seem beneath OU to do these things but Texas is beginning to define the contest. It probably is not a bad idea to fight back.

This is lame on multiple levels but I'll just point out one thing. All tech and texas are doing are magnifying that OU has the best odds. Why else would they be putting all THEIR eggs into an OU game which, as far as I can tell, will have neither a horn or a red raider step on the field.

I think the only politicking that needs to be done is on the field. I suspect it will be. (I also suspect the horns know it, and so do the red raiders.)

and that and 2006 left a bad taste in a lot of coaches mouth. A lot of them probably don't like the politicing, Pete Carrol has stated so. Stoops dropped out of the coaches poll for a reason.

The bottom line, politicing won't mean dick if we don't make a statement on the field. We're in a great position to do so with the final prime time game of the season.

Besides, we're dealing with the BCS and a pretty full slate of big games the next couple weeks.

The only sign we need is a sign that says:

"We don't need no stinkin signs"
