How many of those signs will be in Booger Pickens Stadium on Saturday? 40,000?

I just saw two more. (probably the same two seen above).

I guess $4000 doesn't go far at the print shop.

From voodochild on shagybevo:

I got an e-mail from one of the mods on the 45-35 facebook group telling me that they are trying to stop people from bringing in signs so I should try to hide mine, but I'm not sure how to do it without folding it all up.

I have checked the DKR rules and it states that banners are banned but says nothing about signs. If they try to stop me what should I do?

:D

ESPN is doing a good job of helping their cause by giving camera shots of them every minute

Y'know, I was just willing to wait and see, not count my chickens, etc. Then they had the interview with that Facebook d0ucherocket, and now I'm feeling an absolute rage toward all of Whorndom. This is worse than the dirtbag "People's Champion" thing.

Here's hoping there's a bit of a backlash over this nonsense against saxet. There would be no way to chart the hits on the awesome meter if the cows managed to choke against aTm. They'd be a laughing stock on every foot ball-related blog, forum and televison show for years to come.

(Although to their credit, the ESPN heads seemed to think he was a bit of a dork, and I liked them snarking about the 39-33 elephant in the room. They would have gotten huge style points if they also asked him how it will feel to have to root for his "most hated rival" on Saturday in order for his beloved cows to keep their hopes alive.)

They've got their 15 seconds of talk time.

After this game it is OUr turn.

People will remember two things, how OU destroyed aggie and that texas fans = crybabies.

Go Sooners!

The money they spent printing those signs sure could have bought some good seats for the holiday bowl. Wait? Good seats, texas in the holiday bowl, still a waste of money. texas sucks!!! and ESPN is not to far behind!

Giving credit where it is due, the ESPN guys did just spent a few moments discussing the virtues of OU and Bradford.

Bottom line is that saxet can hold up all the signs, buy billboards, or plaster it on the freakin goodyear blimp but if OU takes care of business Saturday, it will all be in vain. Even a good win over aTm in Austin wouldn't impress like a road win in stoolwater, not to mention we beat aTm worse in college station.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the gay score signs at a non-OU game just as bad as them complaining about us giving the upside down hook-em horns sign at non-texas games?

I applaud the Texas fans for their effort, but it came across as very whiney. I think at best they may sway a few votes (they need about 20-30 to sway) and at worst it backfires to some degree.

Either way, we win -- we're in

P.S. - it took Texas 4 quarters to score as many points on arguably the worst team in the conference, as OU scored in 2 quarters on the #2 ranked team in the nation.

style points: SQUANDERED

Not really.

They're just trying to politic for their cause. Albeit, still short sighted.

Doing the upside down Horn gesture or wearing any apparel with the Horn logo inverted when the opponent isn't wearing burnt orange is as ghey as it gets.

They've had their cute little night. Unfortunately for them, the main event is this Saturday night and if we take care of business the voters will be thinking about our dominating team, not a pathetic sign campaign.
