if you buy tickets to a bowl game do you need a student id to use them at the game?and if you and 4 friends buy them at the same time will they be beside each other?

When I went to the Fiesta bowl, you didn't need a student id. You have to get a group seating form similar to the OU/TX game to get the seats together.

We needed our IDs to pick up our tickets in San Antonio for the big 12 championship last year. It sounds like the Fiesta Bowl did it differently though.

For what it's worth, at the last Orange Bowl, if you had student tickets, you had to show up with ID and pick them up at the stadium.

From a recent OU email soliciting bowl game ticket purchases:

All tickets sold will be charged to students’ bursar accounts. Tickets must be picked up at the bowl site by the student with their OU ID card. All sales are final. No cancellations will be accepted.

Group Seating:
Requests will be taken starting Thursday, December 4th at 10:00 a.m. until Wednesday, December 13th at 5:00 pm during normal business hours. Group forms must be completed at the OU Athletics Ticket Office and are limited to 20 students per group. We will make every effort to accommodate these requests. However, group seating cannot be guaranteed. You must have purchased a ticket through the sale prior to making a group request.
