I'm doing pretty well, but there's not a big crowd in the office.

I've been out of corp America for almost 4 years but if I were still there I would be on the Golf Course the Wed before Thanksgiving. (weather permitting). The way I play golf, I usually bagged a turkey with my 9 iron looking for my ball in the woods.

Not very much at all.

No, I'm only here because I lack the vacation to take off (just started a month ago). 90% of the office is gone, and the people I needed to feed me the data I needed are either on vacation or "sick".

No. I'm working at home today and procrastinating on running the vacuum before family gets here.

Some. Just had my monthly branch review. Getting some audits done. Listening to Chinese Democracy.

Of the three, the last is probably the most difficult.

I was thinking of taking an hour of leave, but I'm on a bit of a roll, so I guess I'll stay. :O

Yes, but only because I'm at the PSRC right now. If all the 911 operators were slacking today, there'd be a spot of trouble. :D

You all got it good....

We worked all day...

We worked on some brownies and then some cookies and then some carrots and then some celery and then some broccoli and then some pickles and then some brisket and then some roast pork and then some hotlinks and then some cole slaw and then some potato salad and then some beans and then some pie and some drinks....

Heck we darn near worked ourselves to death.

I had a good half day. Awarded costs and fees by a state court judge resulting from an ignored subpeona duces tecum/motion to compel and a well-drafted application for indirect contempt citation and application for costs and fees. The culmination of a discovery imbroglio spanning about a year. About $4K. Talk about your moral victories.;)

I'm ashamed to know you

Why? Because I own Chinese Democracy or because I'm finding it hard to listen to?

We only had one out of the office today, but he was out all week. We had a few leave early, one flying to her parents place in Albuquerque and one doing the same to Omaha. Most everyone else left between 3-5.

because you actually went out and bought it

I tried to listen to the title track, i'd rather hear "all summer long"

Well, I wouldn't say I "went out."

I had to use those 20 free downloads from Alabama on something.

and yet, you used them on nothing :D
