Just don't mistake it for mouthwash
I couldn't imagine how shooting water up your nose is supposed to fix a sinus infection, but I'm no doctor.

I've had some kind of crud myself lately. Started w/a sore throat, then lost my voice at halftime of the game (which was expected even without being sick). Coughing like a mofo, hacking some stuff up, my voice is still messed up. I've just been hitting the Niquill and Dayquill

I used to get 6-8 sinus infections per year. Then I had sinus surgery a couple of years ago. It turns out I had 85% blockage on one side and 60% on the other. Since the surgery, I haven't had a sinus infection at all. I couldn't be happier with the results.

With that said, the surgery itself was THE SUCK!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't try the neti pot, but my Otolaryngologist said they worked pretty well.

I swear this **** sucks. I was on vacation all week and did not do a damn thing. seemed like every time I tried to do something I could not breath. I would feel better for a while than worse.
I would get dizzy when I tried to anything that resembled work....

Afrin is your friend.

Use half the recommended dose, and only up one nostril. When that wears off, do the same in the other nostril. That makes the after-effects of *stopping* using Afrin a lot better.

there' a couple of the sinus cleansers, but you're not supposed to use them when you're stopped up

I did use them when I was in Korea because of the polution
