it's true -- all of the logic in the world can't sort out this mess, and at the end of the day the voters are going to simply have to vote for who they think are the two best teams.

the traditional score-settlers - "body of work", head-to-head matchups, worst loss, etc., can't settle this one clearly.

i like our chances down the stretch...

That was disappointing because I thought there were 2 diffferent stories. :O

Bob's right-on though: Everybody knows the arguments, and it's bad form to keep repeating them when there are tough games to be played.

I think some folks are just now figuring out how this will be played out.

Since Tech was surely going to slaughter us and we'd probably be flat going into stoolwater after our disappointing loss at Home to Tech....some are now realising that we again have found a way to get not only into a BCS Game...but into THE BCS GAME.

I know that chaps lots of asses...especially when those asses bring up our Bowl Records.

I'm hoping this disrespect is turned into a killing machine on the gridiron by OUr guys.

BOOMER SOONER ! ! !

This is all so bizarre to me. All of the sudden head to head is the only way to decide it. I would be willing to bet that if we went back and looked at every year of the BCS that there would be at least one instance of a team being ranked ahead of a team that they lost to. Probably more than one. I don't understand why it is such a controversy this year.
