Line is at 7 1/2 now but will probably be double digits by Saturday. If so, it'll be like stealing.:D

Well you may as well bet the farm on this one, our opponents are humping it.

No, I'm not jokin'.....the spread is currently at 7.5 and it will be higher by game time. I just don't think the Sooners will cover in Stoolwater.

I never bet on a Sooner game. I learned a loooong time ago that it never works out. I want to be able to enjoy the win without worrying about the spread.

And, for what it's worth, we're gonna beat the pokes by at least 14.

I don't think so but it they do it'll be ok.....I made a killin' on the over last week.

You are correct though, the spread will be over 10 by kick-off. Lot's off money going in after what we did to Tech last week.

I'm playin the odds here. OU struggles in Stillwater even against pathetic OSU teams. This is the best team OU has played on the road this year. The Pokes are balanced, too, and they are very athletic. I hope the Sooners win by 50 but I just don't see it.

I hope whoever bets on a Sooner game loses, and loses big. Unless the Sooners are underdogs.

I usually don't give points although I felt they'd rape Texas. I lost that one but it was the only one. I'll take the points if I feel they're enough and, if I lose, that means the Sooners win. Sorta like a trade off. I just don't think they'll beat the spread vs OSU on the road but they should win.

The line is now 7 and will either stay at 7 or go back to 7.5.

No way this line goes double-digits unless Cowboy QB Robinson gets injured during the week in practice.

Ya but say we are up 14 points, your going to have to root for the pokes to score. UN sooner like

Those of you saying the line will get to 10 or higher do not understand the betting marketplace. Ever since the UIGEA of '06, recreational bettors have been driven away from offshore shops and it is mainly sharp/professionals wagering offshore. They are aware of how strong OSU's offense is and they know they've had 2 wks to prepare and the game is at night. This all adds up to value on the home team. The moment that line touches 8, tons of Cowboy action will come in and bring it back to 7.5 or 7.

It opened 7.5 and has dropped to 7. That tells you all you need to know.

When I bet the game, I watch it as though I had never bet. Can't do anything about it, anyway.

It will not be available until later in the week. For Saturday games, they usually don't release a Total until Thursdays due to injury and weather info. They want the latest info to ensure they release the right line.

Last week's was 76, so I think this week it might be 72 or so. It should be pretty high because our offense is obviously a killer and OSU can put up some pts as well. The perception is that our defense is still a little weak and last week's result won't change that. I thought the side would open up at -9.5 but when it was only 7.5 I was surprised, and then it dropped to -7 today. The perception of us is not reality. We are better than 7 pts over OSU.

Well, OU -7 should be the ticket.............

Last week's o/u was a no-brainer.

I'm not a bettor, but I know a lot of dudes who are. I learn about the betting marketplace by listening to them. OSU +7 might seem like a good play on the surface, but they have basically no chance to stop our offense. Can they keep up offensively? Not with the way our young LB's have looked lately. We will score at least 42 on them. Can they score 35? Well, they only scored 20 vs Texas Tech and gave up 56. Yes, that was in Lubbock, but it was only a few weeks ago. The Red Raiders softened them up for us. OU -9.5 would be the fair line in my mind, so -7 is not far enough away to really warrant a ton of value in my mind. To each his own.

I hope you lost you entire bank account. Never bet on the Sooners, or especially never bet against them in the spread. :texan:
