Agree. Sam demonstrated a lot of poise and was very articulate. Sometimes that is hard for kids when they are still hyped up by a big win but he was charming.

Great answers, cool as a cucumber and didn't let Corso railroad him on the Heisman question. Loved it!

Sam's got a serious future in broadcasting. After a long, hall-of-fame NFL career, of course...

Yeah, I was very impressed as well. A lot of success in Sammy's future, whatever he does. Have a feeling it will involve throwing a football.:D

We need a stud QB in the NFL, and I think Sammy could be it.

This guy could be successful in anything. So focused and centered about seemingly everything.

Sam's said his goal is to go to law school.

I imagine he'll probably delay that a few years. :D Hey, Steve Young managed to get his JD while playing in the NFL.

Sam seems like a really good kid. Well raised, level-headed, he's a solid dude.

...and ended up doing a fair bit of television.

I'm telling you, after his playing career is over, Sam will be a television sports analyst. Dude is smooth and analytical in front of a camera and a national audience. As a sophomore in college. That's about as rare as the way he's playing.

Heh. Which is actually close to the truth. BYU. Which is named after his great-great-grandfather.

Anyone find a link to this?
We were went from the game to a bar and I couldn't hear what he was saying in the interview.

Tim Tebow was a great representative last year. I'd like to see another good kid like Sam get the hardware this year. Of course Colt McCoy would be another good representative as well, if he hadn't sold his soul to the devil and become a Longhorn. ;)

That was a side of Sam I hadn't seen before, and you could see the euphoria from his win.

Yeah that was a pretty decent little mid season interview.

I really want to see the one with Lee, I searched on espn last night and never found it. I offer some green spek to anyone who finds it. :D
