iPod question

at least one of the artists' names isn't showing up on my iPod. it's Paul McCartney. I've got Paul McCartney songs on my iPod, and if I search for a specific song, I can find it. But Paul McCartney's name isn't in the list of artists, so I can't play all of his songs.

why?

Not sure why, but you can edit and add it to the song on your itunes, and it'll show up then.

Make sure there's not a space before or after his name on the ID3 tags, that'll mess up the alphabetization of your artist list.

Are you using the search function or just scrolling through the artist list? I've never found the search thing to be very accurate, so maybe that's the problem. I just use the wheel to go by artist, if you're quick enough it'll skip by letter instead of by individual artist.
