They don't have much of a shot at the b12 game. Tech has to lose to Baylor for them to go. This is the only way they can get to KC without tickets.

What they are hoping for now is for OSU or Mizzou to knock off OU. That would put UT at #3 behind Fla and Bama.
This would put them in the BCS Champ Game.

They were OU fans for only one night. Now they can go back to hating OU.

Texas may end up being the team from the south in the national title game but they're in a tough situation.

They need us to beat OSU but a win at OSU helps us a lot.

If we lose to OSU then the BCS will be in an even bigger mess. TT will go to the conference championship game (with a clear cut head to head tie-breaker not the BS BCS rankings crap) yet Texas will probably be in the national title game.

They need us to win, or they don't win the Big 12 south. If they don't win the Big 12 south, they do NOT make the NC game -- because human voters are gonna punish the hell out of them for failing to win their division of the conference.

If we win, then they're TIED for the Big-12 South. Since they're tied, if they get left out, they get to politic everywhere -- and voters are likely to reward them for being "cheated" by the "horrible BCS system" that "didn't even let them play in the championship game, even though they beat the team that *did* get to play".

They could even get an AP "championship" out of it.
