. . . in the first half on TT for trying to stop the clock after using their timeouts?

Something should have been called.

I just wished we would have snapped the ball and ran it down for a touchdown while the Tech players were trying to figure out what they were supposed to do.

Yeah I didn't understand why there wasn't a penalty. If Tech actually tried to call a timeout then that is a penalty, right? Did the refs mess up or what?

Could someone explain to me how a delay-of-game penalty can be called on the defense? I think it happened on a Tech extra point, and my dad and I both looked at each other with a classic "WTF?" expression.

I don't know if anyone else noticed, but right before the mythical timeout was called, the RLB (#37, I think) was signaling timeout.

Not sure if its the case here because I couldn't see it, but I have seen that called if the Defense slaps or moves the football while the center is getting ready to snap it.

The refs are supposed to ignore any player or coach that asks for a timeout when they have non left.

Technical foul. 2 free throws and possession.

there is no penalty for calling a timeout when you don't have one in football.. they just ignore you basically.

the refs did suck last night. especially the personal foul on Nic. Bogus.

Tech should have gotten a delay of game penalty for trying to call timeout when they didn't have one left.

I don't think there is a penalty like in hoops. The refs are just supposed to ignore the request. Stoops was upset because the refs must have forgotten the timeout situation and "paused" the game; thus interfering with our no huddle tactics.
