say you are fouled on a shot and miss and they call the foul. does that shot go down as a missed field goal attempt?

If it does not then how would it work if you are fouled on a shot and make it?
does it then count as a field goal attempt and make?

I'm pretty sure it does not count against you if you miss. I think it does count if you make it though. Kind of like a bonus.

Yep.

They wipe the attempt off the books if you miss, because the presumption is that the foul caused you to miss.

If you make the shot, they count it as an attempt and make.

Nice.

And, while we're talking about free throws, I hate when you're up by 11 with less than a minute left and the other team starts hacking away. I got home at 9:30 tonight and I should have been home by 9:00. B*stards.

if you start intentionally fouling with under a minute they should let you shoot at least 2 and then shoot until you miss.
