No, we need 'em to beat Baylor the following week or then we are royally screwed.

I'm going to QoS on Friday at teh Warren.

When Bond has one of those Peter Griffin/Chicken fights with the bad guys, I'm gonna laugh at the foreshadowing for Saturday night.

Thursday would be acceptable as long as we don't get Lou Holtz and Mark May as the commentators.

:pop: I guess I could practice pulling some beer tops in the meantime though.

High School playoffs Friday, can't interfere with that

Thursday Night Football - Miami @ Georgia Tech

Another "nail biting" ACC matchup.

I'm sure Lou and May will be doing the play-by-play. Which is almost enough of a reason to NEVER watch a Thursday night game.

Gee, to the players it must feel like forever.

I agree but Spielman and monotone boy were MUCH worse.

I actually don't mind Spielman (although he should never have been allowed to be on-air), but the other dude is horrible.

Remember the last time Oklahoma-Tech was the game for the big 12 championship? The year was either 2004 or 2002 - OU beat Texas that year and Tech had the chance to "control their own destiny" (gawd, that phrase gets thrown around FAR too much) with a win over OU in Norman.

Texas Tech: You mean the OU away game actually means something this year?
OU: ....Yes? :)
Texas Tech: Oh, noes! We already returned most of our allotment of tickets to you because our fans didn't care about the game until this week!
OU: .... And? :)
Texas Tech: So do you think we could have those tickets back then? :O
OU: Already sold. :D
Texas Tech: Ahhhh, crap.

OU goes on to win against Tech and take the Big 12.

Something tells me that won't be the case this time around.

I just hope that rust is gathering on the TT offense and that our offense has been well lubricated during this down time.

And YES, I think the players are more than ready.

That's 7 beer tops so far. :pop: :P :hot:

Graham is getting ready to join the Chase "Booger" Daniel category. I seem to remember when he was riding high as well.

One year from now, no one will hardly remember the name Harrell.

Good luck to sooners. Pound their offensive line with the hurry up offense. They will weaken as they did against Texas. Hit their receivers hard as they come off line. Hit their receivers hard, really hard when they complete passes. Rock their world. When they start to hear footsteps, they will start dropping passes. Make a great effort and then, win or lose, you will have no regrets. God speed.

Stoops knows Leach's playbook to a "T." He used to run it / defend it in practice.

We'll Be Fine.
