It looks like it might be a little cool at game time, maybe in the 50's or lower.

Is the team practicing outside at about the same time of day as game time?

Word is...

They aren't practicing at all.

Bob gave them the week off.

I heard he said something about Leach owes him one and this was a lock.

Take OU and the points.

:D

Yep, the whole week off. Doesn't want to put too much pressure on em.

I hope he has roll call once a day, just to make sure no one is in jail.

Truthfully, Coach Stoops has said Mike Leach just does the same stuff all the time. He said that in 2000 Mike got mad at Josh because Josh tried to tell him what type of coverage the oppent's defense was in. Mike told Josh he did not care and to just run the plays.

So no need to practice; just go to the movies and do homework.

And they are all getting participation trophies too!

I heard Bob forced them to watch "Remember the Titians" and "Rudy".

Said that was all the prep they needed.

Remember the Titians? Hmm....Look out for those raging titties.

*laughing*

Now I'm picturing Dan Ackroyd talking about titian on SNL.

I'm not going to edit it because of the humor factor.

They aren't tackling.

There is a lot of clapping going on.

They may be lifting weights.

I'd believe it.

Mike Leach, head coach of the Texas Tech Raiders in 2000, got mad at Josh Heupel for calling him up and taunting him by telling him what offense he should run for a specific defensive scheme.

Or are you saying.

Mike Leach, living in Lubbock, was calling up Josh Heupel and telling him to ignore Mangino's play calling and to just run what Mike wanted? When Josh questioned his sanity, Leach got mad and ran to Bob.

Either way, it's plausible. :D
