...gave up a bunch of yards and points to Oregon Saturday. Even though the Wildcats had a two to one advantage on time of possession.

hey, mikes defense was known to on occassion to lay an egg. I would call it an egg.
but it is typically an exception and not a rule.

Here is the thing about Mike. When he was at Oklahoma he had great talent, and he knew just how to use great talent. As easy as that seems, a lot of coaches cant do that.

i can't argue with this statement. however, according to all recruiting sources on the planet we had ZERO talent on campus when mike arrived. most of boo's classes were ranked in the low 20's or high 30's. stoops first class (which produced umpteen AAs) was in the 40's.

Well... you know, Brent Venables had the weekend off and it wouldn't have taken too much effort for him to get on a plane and coach last weekend and use the Clemson job opening as a cover story...

:P I apologize in advance if that starts any speculation :P
