View Full Version : I had to assemble my nachos today....

So I went down to Lincoln today to watch the Cornhusker Men's Basketball team take on San Jose State. To further enjoy the second half, I decided to purchase nachos. I got the traditional nachos tray with cheese, but a bag of chips, and a cup of a jalapenos to assemble myself. I've never had to do that before. Is this the new wave in nachos serving? On the upside, the cups of a better grade of plastics, so my cup inventory will be much improved by the end of the season.

Nope. Sounds like there is more WASTE involved with the user-assembled nachos. You've got a BAG of chips, a container for the cheese, a container for the peppers, plus something that holds it all (if I counted correctly). Not to mention job reduction in the form of fewer "nacho assembly technicians" working the game.

Y'all must not get out much; I've had to assemble my own nachos for at least a couple of years at both baseball games and movies.
