Only 2 games left, here is how I think it will play out

1st Team

Bradford if we beat Tech and OSU
Duke
D.Murray
Travis Lewis

2nd Team

Chris Brown
Iglesias
Brandon Walker
Jon Cooper
Gresham
Beal
Nic Harris
D.Franks maybe

I guess you figure Coffman beats out Gresham?

Which I could see as well.

Unfortunately Gresham has been known to take a play or so off ... sort of reminiscant of a WR from last season that's now struggling in the NFL.

It's mostly his drops that kill him.

Where's Trent Williams?

Coffman just has a great rep and he already has over 800yds receiving even though Gresham has a ton of Tds.

Its really unfortunate that the QB position is so loaded, 1st team could be any of the big 3 and I really couldnt argue even though SB hasnt had a bad game yet...unless you consider 5tds and 2ints a bad game

I'm afraid that the Big 12 may chicken out and give 1st team honors to some North guys that don't deserve it just to even things out a little. Remember, their coaches have half the votes. Thus...

1- The Big 12 South coaches will split their QB 1st teamer votes among Colt, Sam and Graham (possibly Zac?)
2- The Big 12 North coaches will all vote for Chase Daniel, one of "their own" over the South QB's.

I just see this happening because Chase is a senior and because that Norman kid that went to Nebbish got the honor his senior year (Zac Taylor, I think?) so I can see that happening again w/Mizzou.

No way Chase will be first team, and i seriously doubts if he makes anything other than Honorable mention

Chase is behind the big 3 and probably even Zac Robinson

Bradford has more passing TD's then Harrell, yet they pass 95% of time. Do the math.

What is amazing is that one of the top three "front-runners" for the Heisman will not even make the 2nd team all conference team.

Usuc would've finished fourth in the Big 12 south.....

I think with all the hype that Harrell is getting, which is actually well deserved, he will get the nod over Sam unless he loses the game for Tech against us. Murray wont be first team because of the first half of the season. If he played all year like he has since texas, without a doubt he would be first team, but I think it will go to the pokes rb, name escapes me at the moment. Broyles might get newcomer of the year though.

Murray is 2nd in the league in rushing and 2nd I believe in all purpose yds, he will likely be 1st team unless he plays bad the last two wks IMO

This is a really challenging thing to think about, regarding the signal-callers.

I think Daniel, Bradford, McCoy and Harrell will be the finalists in most voter's minds.

Daniel and Harrell split the Senior vote.

Bradford and McCoy and Harrell will split the performance vote.

Gotta believe Conference Champion gets first team. I'd be okay with that criteria this year.

GroundAttack makes a tremendous observation. The All-Big XII Honorable Mention will be on a plane to New York. Incredible.

Might want to send this to the league offices, because Sam has yet to be named player of the week even once. In fact, Manny Johnson vs. TCU is the only OU player to have been named such on offense.

The All Big 12's are chosen BEFORE the conference championship, right?

If so, I still think Chase gets the nod, because of the north vote and because of how Zac Taylor of Nebraska got it a few years ago - leading his team to the Big 12 North.

Of course, I would Sam to win, but I just think the South vote will be more split than the north.

Chase has ZERO shot of being all big 12 qb

It's going to be funny to see that only 2 big 12 south QB's on the first and second team awards, yet all 3 will be at the Heisman award.
