Too bad Jarboe didn't make it in Troy in time for the season to start. I'd like to hear his rap over the upset.

Seems like just last week Bama had to take LSU to OT to pull-off the win. Hmmm...so what is it again - the SEC has amazing D or they have awful O?

This also might force the voters to drop LSU a spot or two in the rankings.

LSU has quit, and Jarrett has thrown his 7th 6.

Another punch in the mouth to the theory of "defensive slugfests" in the SEC huh? The pokes gave up less points while scoring 55 on this team.

completely off topic, but there is no CU-aggy thread, but CU just had the luckiest TD ever. 4th and 15 from the 25, Hawkins threw a ball that hit the CU WR in the helmet, bounced forward about 10 yards and into the hands of a CU WR who took it into the endzone. 20-10 [hairGel]

Announcers just said there have been 10 drops so far in the Bama-MSU game. 10!!

I'm as shocked as you. I thought there were way more drops than that.

Actually, I'm sure the simple fact that you're playing against a vaunted SEC D is so intimidating that you just can't catch the ball.

Troy's QB must be trying out for Texas Tech. He's thrown 57 passes so far.

Simply Unbeileveable.

It is simply amazing how great the SEC is. 37 unanswered points. Just stunning. Now you know that any SEC team could beat up any NFL team, on any given day.

ALL HAIL THE SEC!

;)

Great, now LSU is gonna jump us in the polls for their brave comeback performance AND get a Nobel Peace Prize for their generosity in allowing lowly Troy to lead most of the game by double digits.

It was the defense that won the game. SEC is about Defense and championships.. True championship caliber team is LSU and all SEC teams

As long as we follow Lawrence's advice I feel good for our mudholes.

The Tiger defense held Troy without a first down in the second half. They're really buzzin' around Baton Rouge today. LMFAO!

Who's to say I don't? What makes you think I didn't realize full well the ramifications of not respecting the jinx, but did it anyway just so I could watch the usual suspects' hopes rise, only to be dashed?

LSU = Lucky State U...they tend to forget that OU winning the BIG XII last year and WVU losing, allowed them to even sniff that title game.

Last night's game is just another example of how lucky they get sometimes.
