This is funny on so many levels. No, we don't condone vandalism (next time, Baylor, just paint a tarp or bedsheet or something and hang it from the barn, mkay?). However, we do condone laughing at the fact that this is actually a rivalry now that Baylor isn't totally mediocre and A&M is :D

A&M - Baylor is an old SWC rivalry that lost alot of it's luster in these parts when Baylor fell off the map in the early to mid 1990's.

Baylor has hated A&M for ever ... or at least the Baylor men. In the "old Army" days of Texas A&M, when there were no women at A&M and it was all Corps ... Aggies would head up to Waco to find dates. This pissed off Baylor guys to no end.

The series was actually stopped in the 1920's because of violence between the schools, including the death of one Aggie cadet and a fabled tale of revenge that had the Aggie Corps ready to lay seige to Waco / Baylor with artillery (back then, we had alot of cannon for military training) only to be stopped by the Texas Rangers.

Now, it's really a bigger game for them than it is for us. Our end of things really has to do with keeping out of the south basement and keeping Baylor in it.

heh. think you solved problems by allowing women to be aggies themselves?
