I was reading The Salmon of Doubt last night and this thought kind of hit me: Wikipedia is more like H2G2 than H2G2.com is.

Collaborative effort? Check
Wildly inaccurate sometimes? Check
Accessible by portable device over a wireless network? Check

Creepy. Douglas Adams was crazy smart.

I'm gonna start petitioning them to put "DON'T PANIC" on the front of the site.

Wow. i haven't thought about Hitchhiker's Guide in 15 years. I must have read those books 10 times each. And laughed like there was no tomorrow.

Great analogy, Froz.

You know what else you can access from your mobile device? The Vogon Poetry Generator. (http://www.bbc.co.uk/cult/hitchhikers/vogonpoetry/lettergen.shtml)

See, see the Stubborn sky
Marvel at its big Burnt orange depths.
Tell me, Czar do you
Wonder why the naked mole rat ignores you?
Why its foobly stare
makes you feel Sleepy.
I can tell you, it is
Worried by your flimflamfloozy facial growth
That looks like
A old mustard.
What's more, it knows
Your dillweed potting shed
Smells of frog.
Everything under the big Stubborn sky
Asks why, why do you even bother?
You only charm skunks.
