(Owassa, AL) -- Football is taken very seriously in the South with the proof coming in a shooting over an argument about a game that left two dead. According to the "Press Register," police in Owassa say Dennis and Donna Smith were shot and killed at the home of Michael Williams during an argument over the Louisiana State-Alabama football game. Williams is a Crimson Tide fan while Smith likes LSU and the result was tragically deadly. Police say the dispute ended when Smith threatened Williams with with a pistol but Williams grabbed a shotgun and fired twice.
