Clean out the garage. I was waiting for football to be over and cooler weather to hit. This Saturday's my big chance.

Yeah, cleaning the garage would be nice, if we could freaking sell this damn TV. It's a good TV! And it's cheap!

Sleep in like a champ. Yesterday was my first true day off in two months-either working on a campaign, working for real, studying for the LSAT, or some combination of the three every other day. I slept a good 14 hours.

I'm gonna be sitting here in Vegas putting together my computer desk and hoping the entire top 25 loses other than the Big XII teams. And I hope Texass looks like crap against KU but wins on a questionable call...just enough to make the voters use common sense and put them below OU, but not enough to screw up our SOS with the computers.

oh, and obviously I'm also excluding Cincy and TCU from my loser wish list...just wanted to be clear on that.

Man...I'd be willing to bet I get as much exercise jumping up and down and running toward the TV when there IS an OU game. I'm gonna gain 10 pounds thanks to this Bye week!

Going to watch as much college football on TV as possible, but since my wife and her Stanford-grad co-worker are working, and he has tix to the USC/Stanford game, I'm going to see that game. I hate Stanford, but despise the Trojans. Go Fighting Trees!!!

Well, so far I "got some", made coffee, let the dog out, poured coffee, let the dog in, fed the dog, kissed the "some" ta ta, put together my new iPod stereo unit, drank coffee, showered, checked "new posts", read the last of SicEm's Folly, wrote this post.

I hate bye weeks.

Got up early and met with God, then headed over to meet a few guys on Couch 6 to pray. Headed over to the Campus Corner Starbucks with one of the guys for our weekly one-on-one.

Now, I'm sittin' back and watching some football while my wife helps my son with his schoolwork. If it wasn't so cold, I'd probably replace the rear tail light assembly on my truck. Stupid design flaw on those '88-94 Chevy/GMC trucks . . .

Wouldn't you know it, UT has already scored.

Again Pad Thai:

Get some Thai Kitchen Peanut Pad Thai (comes in a box the size of an Uncle Ben's), some chicken breast (or extra firm tofu marinated in soy sauce and seared), some coconut milk, shredded cabbage and Siracha...

You will thank me later, no doubt.

Thanks but they don't sell that stuff in Maine!!

I found a porkloin in the freezer so I'm doing BBQ pork sammiches. The wait is going to kill me.

I ended up not going on the ride this morning, haven't ridden enough and the battery was dead....that's OK, it was cold this morning and very windy (for here). The wife and I went to The Salt Lick for lunch instead, so I still had BBQ.

Srsly?

I live in Oklahoma!

Still, the sammies sound good...I went and made some tofu and rice for lunch after you made me hungry.

Football on TV is meh.

Time to cut the grass for the last time this year.
