I think if we beat TT, we'll be #2. That ought to be enough to get us back over Florida (where we belong anyways), Florida shouldn't be above us.

Agreed, but they would make the SEC teams 1 & 2 as that would make for better hype in advance of that CCG.

Good point...sets up a big time SEC Championship game.
Then we hop to # 2 after winning the b12 champeenship. Hello Miami!

4 of the top 5 still play each other...things are gonna change. We win out, we play for all the marbles.

USC is the team sitting pretty. Just waiting for everyone else to lose while they play weak ball over there in the weaksauce conference.

That's a stretch to me, but I suppose it's possible, especially if you guys can show any semblance of a defense against the red raiders as opposed to winning a 60-58 shootout.

I truly don't see it as a stretch. I mean if we're ranked 4th or 5th, and beat the #2 team in the country, that should raise us to #2 in my opinion. You know what I mean?

Look at texass, when they were ranked like 5th when they beat us, they jumped everyone and went to #1. Kind of the same concept.

Lester should have put the Jefferson kid in at qb yesterday....might have been a different outcome. Lee is absolutely pathetic and Bammer still struggled to beat 'em. Not impressed at all. Meyer will b!tch slap Saban all over the field.

Yes. Like I said, it's possible, but you still have to factor in the likelihood that Texas, who beat you h/h, and UF will more than likely remain unbeaten the rest of the way and therefore still in the mix. Neither the 'cocks or the 'noles are likely to beat the gators, and I certainly don't see the 'horns losing again in the reg. season. Again, win out and the rankings will take care of themselves.

Saban eats gimmick offenses for lunch. We'll be ready for Florida.

What are you basing that on? Saban hasn't seen an offense like Florida.

What are you basing your comment about Meyer slapping Saban around on? Even without Saban, we clocked UM back in '05 and hung with them in '06 until the last quarter.

Florida doesn't scare me.

Exactly! That's why I'm pulling for both Bama and UF to take care of business in the SEC and big12 south survivor (I have a favorite :D) to win out including the CCG. I want the title game to be big12 vs. SEC this year. You know ol Petey is pulling for Mizzou to gum up the works.

If the Beavs win out, USC becomes the runner-up in a deplorable conference.

Alabama is lucky Kentucky doesn't have a chance at the SEC CCG! UK should have beat them several weeks ago, in fact if they were playing this Cobb kid they would have. Alabama loses to Florida! That is all.

If Spurrier isn't a threat to Florida and they are one bad *** team....as some SEC Fans would like everyone to believe...I just have this feeling...if it's true...that Bama is gonna get run over by Florida. LSU's QB looked awful and Les's Defense...I'm not sold it was that good. I think Bama just played down. I really thought that would be a tough game...but not some Offensively unproductive type of game. Bama scraped out a win against what I think is a very bad LSU Team this year.

Florida will wipe the floor with Bama in the SEC Championship...That is if Florida takes Spurrier and his Cocks to the woodshed.

Just my 2 cents.
