Good lord I hope so!!! We have something waiting for Tech. I fully expect the atmosphere in and round the stadium to rival the atmosphere for 2000 Nebraska game, which in my humble opinion was the best atmospehere I have ever seen!! I have been attending OU games for 25 years and I can't remember a time when I saw 86,000 in the stadium and another 20-30,000 outside. It was so rowdy that they ran out of beer on the south side of the stadium!!! One thing is for sure, I'll be there whether it is inside or outside. Big-Game Bob has another one in him with two weeks to prep. The only thing that would make it better is if Tech somehow jumps Bama and comes in #1. Harrell's heisman hopes will come crashing down and Silky Smooth Sam Bradford will light the raider defense up and take what is rightfully his. Tech is going down so hard (thats what she said) that the bell ringing won't even want to take part in his usual whack-off fest!! In the words of the mad-hatter "one team is the best in the county and the other is pretty good team. We are about to find out which is which.":les: The only difference is, we kno who the bast team is and we are about to prove it. The game is still two weeks away and I am already so freakin hyped that its not even funny!! Boomer freakin Sooner!!! And in case you didn't hear that, BOOMER FREAKIN SOONER!!!!!!!!!!!

It means OU would be favored to win the game by 9 points. Essentially, OU would start the game 9 points in the hole.

Lines are misleading though in that Vegas does not "predict" that a team will win. They set the line where they think people will bet equal amounts of money on each team.

If we beat them, then we are a better team then they are but they are ranked higher then we are ranked. This just doesn't make sense to me, however, I do hope that we do win and I personally like for it to be by 50 or more points.

Let me hep ya. Little Jimmy 13 years old and little Johnny 10 years old are going to run a foot race of 40 yards. You asked your 10 family members who will win. 7 of them say jimmy will win and 3 say johnny will win. You, wanting your family members to bet equally between the two tell them that johnny is now going to get a 10 yard head start. Now, 5 will bet on each. Just trying to help.
