Numerous sources up here are reporting it. Patterson's agent denies it.

Here is a link - http://kansasstate.rivals.com/

I would be shocked if he made this move but being a K-State alum may have a lot to do with it.

I'm conflicted, because I want to see TCU's program return to the dumpster but on the other hand I don't want to see Patterson's sweating *** stalking the sidelines in the Big XII.

I don't know why anyone would want to move to Manhattan, KS.

I've heard rumors that Gary's old boss, Dennis Franchione, might be in the mix also.

What color is TCU?

Seems like a lateral move...he could wait for something bigger and better. Competition gets a lot harder at KSU than it is at TCU.

He was on 103.3 this afternoon with that ********* Galloway and vehemently denied any such news. In fact he thought k-states dismissal of Prince was in poor taste.

either Patterson is lying in an unreal shameless way.....or the KSU people are doing something weird.

don't forget your power towel!

they need Dean Blevins to clear it all up for them.

New Rule...You can't make suggestions about OU's coaching staff until you learn to spell their names...

I hope K-State enjoys sliding back into being the Kansas version of Iowa State.

Before Snyder, nobody did it better than K State. Discounting Bill, the coach with the next highest number of wins in their history has 39, and his last year was 1910. Bill coached for 15% of their total seasons and accounted for 30% of their total wins.

yeah, i remember reading some thing about how if KSU went undefeated for 13 years in a row the program would reach .500 all time.

You could subtract K State's wins from OU's win total and OU would still be over .500 all time. :)
