Nope. I don't think there as been a split of any sort in modern times. I always figured that the First District would split before the Second District, but I pretty surprised it happened in any event. It just goes to show how good of a campaign Obama ran, as traditionally the Democrats never put any effort into Nebraska. Hell, Bill Clinton never visited Nebraska until the last month of his term. Obama got in early and outworked everybody on a grass roots basis, and this will probably put chunks of Nebraska into play in future elections.

Hey, if they can have Holographic Princess Leia filing live reports from the field back in the studio, then they can handle lines on a map. :D
