Heading down to a guest DJ appearance by ?uestlove at the Anchor Bar tonight and a full Roots show on Saturday. I imagine these guys can throw it down live, right?
Anyone seen 'em?

Saw them at D-Fest earlier this year.

They will throw down, it's a group that if you get a chance to see live, there is no excuse not to go see them.

Saw them out the House of Blues here in Dallas back in June. Great show, started off with The Tipping Point...brought the house down.

?uestlove drank a Diet Dr. Pepper in honor of Sarah Palin.
Also covered "I'm a Man" "Bad to the Bone" "Sweet Child O' Mine" and a couple more John Lee Hooker tunes.

Muddy Waters' "I'm a Man" or Spencer Davis? both are excellent.
bad to the bone is a Hooker song anyway, basically. it's Hook's boogie. much like La Grange...it's Hooker.

I've seen them 4 times, it's a good show. Back in '01 I saw them with Mos Def, that show kicked junk.
