My first Thunder game. I've gotta say, I've heard people complain about the lack of entertainment during timeouts and such, but I didn't really have any complaints. Nothing was too over the top, and the game was great to boot. The crowd was really good at getting behind the team, but I don't think we've fallen in love with them just yet.

I must say, out of anyone, I think I'm REALLY going to enjoy watching Russell Westbrook evolve into a big time NBA player.

We're all accustomed to Chris Paul, which sets an unrealistic standard for just about anybody. Westbrook looks REALLY promising, though. I think it's time to start him over Watson. Not many rookies take it to the rack like he does. Paul sure didn't. That's rare, and it really can set a lot of things up when your point guard is a penetration threat. I have no excitement whatsoever over Watson.

westbrook will become a great player, no doubt about it. he's really long, athletic that will eventually make better decisions.

unfortunately we are bad enough that we don't have to tank the season to get blake griffin. adding him to a roster with durant, green, westbrook, and petro would give us a well-rounded group.

Amen there. Watson=meh. Westbrook had some nasty dunks at UCLA and I think it's only a matter of time for it to emerge in the NBA. Although I do think he should start over Watson, I also like this lineup:
PG: Watson
SG: Westbrook
SF: Durant
PF: Green/Wilcox
C: Collison

That's a good lineup, at least considering what they have to throw out there. They ran with that down the stretch for a while the other night, and it performed pretty well. The only rub is that I still think Westbrook is/will be better at running the point than Watson due to his ability/willingness to penetrate and create, and that lineup forces him to be a two. If you switch Watson to shooting guard he's even more dead weight than before.
