Penn's last game is on the 22. Meaning We will get 2 more games after their last game. Penn will get jumped if there is a 1 loss sec champ and 1 loss big 12.

The way I see it, if this is what the system is going to allow for Florida...then if Tech beats sheephumpers, tech will be no worse than number 2 in the nation. (quite possibly number 1 if Bama chokes vs. lsu)... So therefore if we can beat tech in a few weeks, we should jump at least 3 spots in theory. We should at that point be no worse than #2 or #3.

Too bad we didn't take care of business against texass. We wouldn't have to be worrying about any of this sh*t if we'd have beat those a-holes

Exactly. If LSU beats Bamer, or if Iowa or MSU beats Penn St and OU takes care of business, we have a good shot--really need Leach to beat OSU though.

I wouldn't worry about Florida, I think if it comes down to the 2 of us, TCU, Texas, OSU and Tech keep winning (other than against us), we will be ahead of Florida. We are very close behind right now and well ahead of them in the coaches poll.

It's a typo on the fox sports pdf. They have 2 teams listed as #9 in the computer polls (us and Georgia). Looks like we should be #6 in the computers.

Yes, but not if we win out and TTU wins out(except for playing us, of course). We would most likely get the 3-way tie-breaker. The highest ranked BCS team would play in the CCG.

I have to say their last 2 victories are a lot more impressive than our last 2 and it comes down to the points we have given up, 35 to K-State and 28 to Nebraska while they have held Kentucky to 3 and Georgia to 10. Pollsters are scared of the sooners because our bad defense will get the sooners beat again and they know it.

I was listening to Jim Rome (I know, I know), but he brought up a good point. Why is Penn State getting a free pass in this? He said that the Big XII and SEC are clearly the best two conferences, and that Penn State would want no part of either champion....That being said, all PSU has to do is lose one, and the nation will have the match up that many have spoken of for many weeks- the SEC v. the Big XII for it all in Miami. I spoke with a FLA alum this morning that admitted that if they win the SEC, and it is between them and a Big XII team, that the Big XII should go. Why? Because they couldn't close the deal against an average Ole Miss team at home. All we have to do is look to last year to realize that who you lose and how you lose DOES MATTER. SUC and us didn't get there because we lost to vastly inferior opponents (CU and Stanford). Look for this line of reasoning to be used by whomever comes out of the Big XII. Why should anybody punish (insert Big XII South team) for losing in a close game against an outstanding opponent, and FLA get a free pass for losing IN THE SWAMP against Ole Miss?

I'm following all of this but it really comes down to which team is going to finish better. Big games coming up and it really starts with Pokes and tortillia throwers.

Then UT @ Kansas and it's going to mix again, teams will lose.

This conference is just flat out wild and may end up beating up on eachother in the end.

Shame seeing Penn State in it, which team will beat them is the race IMO.

Bama will lose, I'm hoping for Florida vs. the Big 12 but it's not likely.
