Here's where this gets really, really tricky. If Oklahoma loses again, it's out of the hunt for the Big 12 championship and the national title. If it wins out and there's a three-way tie with Texas and Texas Tech in the mix, most likely, OU would be the highest ranked team and would represent the South in the Big 12 Championship. However, the Sooners desperately need Texas Tech to beat Oklahoma State this week. If the Cowboys beat the Red Raiders, then OU loses the tie-breaker to Texas if both teams win out. Understand? Basically, OU needs to win out and then hope to get the right breaks. If nothing else, a BCS slot is a given by going 11-1. It's going to take a whole slew of things to happen to play for the national title.

Yeah, if Tech wins next week, and we win out, we're there. No way Alabama wins out, I think they'll lose to LSU anyways. If we win the Big 12 Championship, I'll think we'll jump/stay ahead of Florida. We don't need THAT much to happen...if we win out, the odds of us playing for the NC are pretty high IMO.

Florida goes from .7295 to .826 in one week.

The week before they were at .6690 and went to .7295

So...in two weeks they have been able to improve their BCS Standing by .157...almost 16 % by beating a couple of over ranked SEC teams and a 3 loss Kentucky at Home.

We have beat our last two opponents without a glimmer of a struggle.

No way this jump in BCS points is a valid jump.

Plus Cinncinati beat a ranked Team this week which should have at least kept us at our regular spot in the BCS. Tech beating Texas should be a wash in points for us. Should we beat Tech...they'll probably try to screw us. If Tech losses to aggy before we play them in Norman...I bet it really screws us.

There isn't any reason that we should have lost BCS points this week.

Like they said above...if we beat a highly ranked Tech, highly ranked OSU in stilly, and a fairly high ranked Mizzou in the CCG, then the computers will LOVE us and will most likely be top 2 in the computers. The polls will take care of themselves, we just need to win out, hope for a 3-way tie in the south for a CCG bid and win that. Oh and I think Bama loses "at least" game, maybe this week.

That's a typo. Look at the numbers, we're supposed to be 6th in the computer rankings. Georgia is 9th - which in and of itself is a crock

I can understand what your trying to say but seeing Florida jump up in points like they have the last two weeks should pause you for concern IMO.

I saw Josh Heupel get screwed out of a Heisman Trophy in 2000 and with so many one loss teams this year...every BCS point might be important. If we win out...we could still get screwed the way the BCS points seem to be stacking up against us.

I think you might want to do some more research before you start taking such a laid back attitude about all of this right now.
