They have PSU and Florida in the BCS Championship game. I hate playing the multiple if game, but if we win out, Texas wins out, and Tech's only loss is to us, then how does a team with 1 loss to an unranked team on their homefield get ahead of a team that lost to a team that was ranked #1 for a few weeks?

I'm sure the predictions will change several times before the real pairings are announced. Heck, I was surprised they didn't have SUC in the BCS Championship game, since they seem to be the media darlings(even though they also lost to an unranked team).

If we beat teck and win out, no way does the sugar take a one loss teck team over ut. UT travels way too well.

Consider the source. CBS is the SEC's network. They're in the tank for the SEC, so of course they're going to say a team from that conference is going to be in. Take their so-called "predictions" with a grain of salt.

Speaking of CBS, I wish Spencer Tillman would move over to ABC...

If we win out and win the Big XII championship no way florida goes ahead of us... our schedule finishes out stronger than theirs and their loss was way worse than ours.. we go ahead of them in this scenario.

If we win out and win the Big XXII championship

Big 22?? When did the conference grow by 10 teams, and who are the n00bs in the conference now? ;)

Since when is two "a few"?

If 'Bama, Florida, and OU all win out and Florida and OU win their conference championship games, don't you think Florida's win over a (probably) #1 team coupled with their other wins over top 25 teams would elevate them over OU's win over a weaker North Division champ?

I think if we beat tech, AND okie state, we should get into the NC.

I think a win over a number 2 Texas Tech and a win over a number 10-11 OSU at their house and a win over a top 10 Mizzou would trump a win over bammer in the SEC.

Lil FYI

The computer part of the polls had Florida ranked as 10th last week.

They want to line us up with another nobody to see if we can get upset.

This is why I haven't paid much attention to these predicktors.

Penn St has Michigan st and at Iowa

And those teams tend not to go undefeated, I could see them both falling.

For one, I think Bama loses to LSU. I see your point about who has beaten more higher ranked teams, but look at the losses. One team lost to an unranked team at home, the other lost to a high ranked team on a neutral field.

The only thing I'm concerned with now is us winning out. We can control that. We'll just have to sit back and see what the other teams do. Still a lot of football left. :)
