A strong case can be made for Colt, Tebow, and Bradford.

I forgot: Harrell and Crabtree

I think now that McCoy lost Bradford's numbers will stand out. Oh wait, Corso just said it was Harrell, so I guess it's Harrell.

Tim Tebow may be the only player ever considered for a heisman based on the previous seasons performance, because he has not been superman this year. Harrell, I think, is going to be the talk of nation until someone beats Tech after tonite.

If your going by how the Heisman works, Harrell has the best case as of now. Explain to me how he does not?

You're right. Crabtree hasn't made enough of an impact to warrant legitimate Heisman consideration, and Flutie aside, one miraculous play won't bring him up enough in the eyes of the voters. Harrell is the front-runner now, with Bradford and McCoy slugging it out for 2nd and 3rd. Colt's been good enough all season to where tonight probably won't hurt him too terribly much, and he still gets an invite to New York. In all probability, if the two teams take care of business, Heisman comes down to OU-Tech in three weeks.

Tebow had a really good day against a good team today, though...

If all the QBs continue to up about the same numbers and don't throw 3 or 4 picks to cause a loss, then the one left standing atop conference will probably represent the Big 12.
Next weeks important for SB because if we lay an egg at aTm then he's out of it, imo. Same thing for Harrell vs OSU. aTm is playing much better ball than at the 1st of the year, but the national perception is that they suck. Anything short of us beating them by 40 to 14 or 40 to 7 or 60 to 21 or 28 with Sam having a great game on the road, and he'll drop.

Right now I say top 3:
Harrell
Sam
Colt

That can change though if Sam wins out and the others don't of course

10 for 13 for 154 and 39 yards rushing is really good?
I realize he had the three rushing tds, but from what I remember, they were all within the 5 yard line.
The media has one sad man crush on the kid and I don't even hate him. I would put Sam, Colt, Graham, and Crabtree ahead of him.

Harrell in the lead...

...if we can win out I like Sam's chances a lot.

Once we beat sand aggies a$$...Harrell won't even make the trip to NY.

They're staring at his 5 TOTAL TDs though.

And yea, all the Big XII Heisman-candidate QBs should be ahead of him.

Harrell is in the lead at the moment...but McCoy was in the lead until the TD pass to Crabtree.

I don't see Tebow in the top 3 unless McCoy,Bradford or Harrell lay a serious egg in a loss. If OU gets into the Big 12 Championship game it will be Bradford.
