When downloading a torrent or using a P2P program or whatever else, has anyone noticed that when a file only has like .05% or less left the thing slows WAY WAY down. It reminds me of pre-paying at the pump when they slow down the gas flow so that the last dollar takes a freaking eternity to pump.
Why does this happen?

because the closer you get, the fewer computers you pull data from...

because the RIAA and MPAA run all of their tests to catch you once the file is basically complete...
