Probably very few Rachel Maddow fans on here, I'm sure.
Tonight she was using a football field to illustrate the state of the prez campaign. DC is Obama's 1 yard line; Utah is McCain's (and Oklahoma is his 2 yard line). In 2000 and 04, the battle was mostly fought between the 48 yard lines (PA, OH, FL, NM). This week the back-and-forth is around the McCain 25 yard line.
Obviously I enjoyed the analogy, and the current state of the campaign :D
Since I know she's familiar with the aRistocrats' voter suppression and "fixed" voting machine tactics, I e-mailed her to extend the analogy to the fact that the Republicans own the referees.

Dude, I follow the one urinal rule. If possible you leave one urinal between you and the next person. That being said, I see no way that coming up next to me at the pee trough makes any sense when there is a vacant pee trough, not matter how drunk you are.
