They're trying. Just got back to it. Pryor fumbles. Penn State recovers and JoePa puts in the backup quarterback. JoePa trying to stir stuff up.

This is not the "official" game thread.

Herbstreit just did his politicking for Penn State in the national title game.
Pretty much said, "the Big 10 sucks; the Lions will win this game and go undefeated and DESERVE to play Texas or whoever else MANAGES to get lucky enough with their TOUGH schedule undefeated. And Mushberger agrees with him by saying "why would America deny Joe Paterno?"

Nope, but saying the game is really boring shouldn't merit it's own thread.

No, no OSU this time around, just the same results with PSU taking their place.

Penn St is definitely the media darling. We won by 20 pts tonight, but I'm still not sure that the nittany lions don't get enough sympathy votes and jump us...

How can anyone who watches most college football games this year come away from that game thinking PSU is a top 10 team? Or tOSU for that matter?

5 teams in the Big 12 would absolutely roll either of those teams. 13-6 in this day and age, are you effing kidding me??

I agree how PSU is portrayed but I think your #2 is safe this week.

Unless butterfly nets are now being passed out to WR's now, that PI call was flat out bogus.

Sad part is...they probably aren't going to lose and, chances are, that will land them in the national title game.

According to my LSU (homer) friends, their season can be salvaged by beatin' Bammer in Red Stick. It just amazes the hell outta me how accustomed they've gotten to winning. 10-2 at LSU should never feel like a failure.

If Ohio State and Penn State had to play every team in the Big 12 South, they would both be in serious trouble. Sorry talking heads, but neither of those two deserve to be in the NC scenario.
Herbstreit can talk till he's blue in the face, but it doesn't change the fact that Ohio State sucks worse than SUC!

hmm as a pure college football fan, i thought it was a great game. you don't get to see defensive battles like that anymore.

That is my thought. One loss hurts a lot worse that a bad conference as far as the BCS goes.

I can't see the Lions losing anywhere else this year.

Those weak *** conferences are the real reason that a playoff is necessary.

That is the thing though, who saw West Virgina losing to Pitt last year? I still would put money on Penn losing a game.

Mich State is about the only team that has any kind of a chance to beat PSU. I really doubt they lose that one cause it's at PSU. Unfortunately, I feel that our hopes of making it to the title game have been lost...unless, Tech beats Texas and OSU, then loses to us.

Say there is a 3 way tie right.

Tech would lose a road game (us), Texas would lose a road game (tech), and Oklahoma lost a neutral game ( ut ) .

I don't think we get in do we?

I think Texas would be highest

WOW BV THANKS FOR ****ING IT UP AGAINST TEXAS

Penn St. has thrown a wrench in the plans friends. Because of them its just not gonna happen for us this year. Its sad but true. Just go look at what Penn St. has on their schedule the rest of the way. GARBAGE!!!!!!!! They are gonna go undefeated with ease.

I can't wait to Michigan gets their spread attack going and starts making WEAK 10 teams rethink the word OFFENSE!
