Was Nic benched in the second half?

Noticed Q Carter playing safety a lot, and Nic wasn't in the game; at first i thought he might be hurt, but then i saw him later on special teams, so i don't think that was it; anyone?

He wasn't benched, he just kept taking the wrong angle to the field every time they tried to put him in.

I know some of you think Venables is awful but he did make some adjustments that made a difference in the 2nd half.

There were also some turnovers in the game.

We hadn't seen very many of those the last few games.

Pursuit from the D-line seemed much better too.

We're a long way from good but adequate let us post another win today.

Everytime we post a win...I might not be ecstatic but I'm a lot happier than I was after the texas game.

i dont think hes bad at all most of the time hes yelling because players are in bad positions... etc... most of the time he does call good plays...

Really? What does he have? He damn sure does not have a bunch of scrubs playing for him.


Hell our 2000 defense lacked the talent this years squad has...but played with more passion and determination.

We could use a workshop on tackling by Mike Stoops. The defense had a great showing last night against a good USC offense. Too many slipped tackles and not enough wrapping up low and going for the sure tackle.
