There is a story making the rounds this morning of a young woman (College Republicans) who was allegedly brutally attacked in Pittsburg because she had a McCain sticker on her car.

According to her, a BHO loving perp robbed her, beat her, and carved a "B" on her face.

Both campaigns have issued statements of sympathy.

Now, I ain't buying it.

#1: Even if the alleged mugger was a BHO supporter, why not carve an "O" instead of a "B?" The "B" is also backwards, like it would be if you did it to yourself and weren't careful.

#2: Her story is he mugged her at an ATM, and it was only after he took $60.00 did he notice the campign sticker, whereupon the beatdown/carve-up occurred. Now, what mugger watches his victim return to her car to check for political affinity evidenced by a campaign sticker?

#3: The photo of her face, widely available on the innerweb, really looks like the "B" was scratched, rather than cut with a knife.

#4: She didn't seek medical attention. What female would not run to a doctor if some jackhole carved a letter on her face?

I predict the whole thing will be determined to be a hoax perpetrated by some twenty-something chick with issues who also happens to be desperate for attention.

Todd, who is white, now says she was knocked unconscious and doesn't remember being cut. She now says she only discovered the wound later. No arrests have been made.

It's not rocket science. You look at the physical evidence, listen to her story, factor in some of your own life experience and basic undertstanding of humanity and associated human foibles, and then see if it adds up. In this case, it didn't.
