Zogby's tracker had gone from Drudge's much celebrated +3 for Obama on Monday to +12 Obama for Thursday's release-with no real significant news. Powell doesn't count-endorsements don't move numbers like that.

interesting how the once "run for it" Powell, is being savaged on talk radio....

of all the turnabouts that constitute "real conservatism" this has to be the worst. and most mean spirited.

used to be criticizing Powell was anathema...no it's "bad judgment" on his part.

The thing that's disheartening is hearing people act like the only possible reason Powell could have endorsed Obama is the color of his skin.

Well, the AP poll released today (still Wednesday here) showed a +1 for Obama, so I'm sure Drudge will have something about that up.

Of course, the AP poll had some ridiculous amount of white evangelical Christians in their sample and had a party ID of like 45-45.

Edit: They also had Obama with a +10 number among registered voters but only +1 among "likely" voters. That's a tad...odd.
