I like where US Today placed Sanchez. Sanchez got 1 vote. Not even all the heisman winners from USC would vote for him and the 1 vote he did receive was for 5th place.

Early on the Heisman favorite was Chris Wells. He hurt his ankle and that was the end of his Heisman run.

It is stuff like this that might be the only x-factor in the Texas juggernaut. Till now, Mack's done a good job keeping his boys focused. As the hype machine gears up, though, it gets harder and harder. Maybe he has managed to impose a complete media ban on his team. To his credit, Colt has already had to deal with this kind of publicity following his freshman year. If he can tune it out for a few more weeks he will walk away with it.
