Saw this on another board, & after a double take, I decided to check it out for myself, & danged if it ain't true. I guess English, Beal, G.K., Granger & the rest of the DL just flat out suck because:

The last time the offense of an OU opponent had a holding penalty enforced on them was in the 4th quarter of the Cincinnati game, which is just over 5 games ago. In fact, near as I can tell, they've only had one hold even CALLED against them since that time, that being the one OU turned down on Lendy's iffy pick vs. KU.

I guess we could look at it like this,

"Oklahoma's opponents are the most disciplined teams in the country!" :P

Something ain't right in Denmark when only one holding call is called over the course of 7 games. Conspiracy I tell you, conspiracy.

I'm a texas fan but damn that doesn't seem right. A d!ck ref could really call holding every play if he wanted, yet OU hasn't had one called for them in that long???

That doesn't surprise me; seems like we are the only team in the Big 12 that's ever called for holding, and we never get one back when we are on D; Stoops should be taking this up with the big 12 as this is impossible to happen

Just shows how much the bias is AGAINST OU. Sad really, everyone is holding the hell on us and we don't and won't get the call. The refs are obamian - they want to share the wealth and make the playing field more "even".

That's crazy.

Jeremy Beal is evidence alone that he looks like he has a rocket jagged up his ***, as much as he flies around the field. The kid's an animal.

Holding calls slow down the inevitable OU victory. I mean, if KU got called for all the times they held, that game would have taken FIVE hours, not four.

I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to ask you to not complain about the Big XII referees, or you, too, will have janitors show up to the gym to mock your free throw misses.

You could say the same thing for the RRS just for all the times Loadhold was flat-out tackling Orakpo from behind.

Glass houses...

I find myself screaming for holding calls on almost every opponent pssing play and many outside runs.I was thinking that there hadn't been many holding calls BUT did not realize it was that bad.

Orakpo is held every play when he beats a lineman and he's yet to get the call. They do the, "oh crap, i better protect my qb, i'll just tackle him and take the holding call" type of hold and it never gets called, it blows my mind.

definitely not the point of this thread.

The point is that there's NO WAY there was no blatant holding that should have been called since the Cinci game. No way.

Holding should be called a lot more in most every game played. Either that or just make it legal, because right now the holding call is a joke.

Or maybe they are Republicans and just can't see what's going on.

I agree; i mean, when you have a handful of the guy's jersey and it's not called, then i don't know what the hell it is

The thing that is troubling is they might go all game and not call it, the players get used to that, and then when your offense has a big play or at a crucial time in the game they decide -- now's the time to call a hold. Either call it the way it should be all game long or forget about it.

The KU fans would disagree with that. on a forum i was on, they claimed that's all we did. lol.

and The Streak lives on. Not one hold called on KSU today.

No, I think there was one in the first quarter, because I was telling Mr. Gal about the incredible stat and how that was the first one since Cincinnati.

I don't recall one being called on anyone but OU today

KSU had 4 penalties in the game:

An Illegal block on the opening kickoff.

An offside call on OU's opening possession of the 2nd quarter.

A false start just before Broyles punt return.

A delay of game on their opening possession of the 3rd quarter.

The end.
