I'm not sure if this was the official release or not, but I just saw OU at #4 on Fox NFL sunday.

That would be the official release.

Fox does have the first rights to the BCS.

BCS not released yet, per ESPN.com.

That is because the BCS rankings do not come out until Sunday evenings on Fox.

I think Penn State loses to Ohio State and Alabama hasn't looked good since the first half of the Georgia game. I would love a rematch with Texas.

Man those numbers sure don't look like we could get caught from behind if we win out. If bama and penn state each lose one we could be looking at the unthinkable.

I think #4 is a great spot for this team psychologically.

Ohio state could beat Penn especially with Pryor and Beanie running the option. Jesus thats scary.

And I couldn't agree more about Alabama. I think people are finally starting to realize that for once the SEC is completely overrated. Georgia simply isn't as good as people had originally thought.

I like where we are right now.

With the lineup of teams we still face, I think we'll move up.

We need to win out.

Living in SEC country, and having watched A LOT of SEC ball, no SEC team would go through the Big XII without at least 2 losses. The key to beating 'Bama is get out in front of them early. They are horrible finishers. The Ole Miss and UK games were carbon copies. 'Bama gets out early, nearly falls apart at the finish line. This week is @ TENN. It is their line in the sand against a big rival, and they would like nothing more but to unrail 'Bama's big dreams. BTW, their "D" star, Mt. Cody, is injured. Look for Fat Phil to try to run it down 'Bama's throat... Georgia looked average against Vandy. LSU is a paper Tiger (pardon the pun), and FLA is schizo....If Joe Pa's bunch comes out like they did against Meatchicken at the 'Shoe, they will get blown off the field. Right now, tOSU might be better than most SEC teams. Don't be shocked if texass and OU are #1 & #2 a week from now...We are in a great spot right now.

I live in SEC country too and I hope your right. My doubts come from being somewhat a football purist (whatever the hell that means) still believing that a strong defense, running game and special teams win games (and ultimately championships). Take the opposing teams run game away, run the ball successfully (and chew the clock), and don't screw up on special teams.
