I was surprised about some of the penalties that did not get called, that had a major impact on the game.
During Shipley’s (sp) kick off return, there was a obvious block in the back around the 30 yard line.
During the 4th qtr when OU had a 3rd and 4, Bradford passed to Johnson and it was broken up by #21 Groden (sp). There should have been a pass interference penalty, as Groden’s (sp) right hand had a hand full of Johnson jersey as he reached around Johnson.
When Texas, #3, makes the long run down the Texas sideline, Beal is tackled from behind as he tries to take down the runner by, I believe, #71.
On OU’s last play, it looks like. on replay and slow motion, that Sam throws a pass to Boyles, but Iglesias tries to catch it. I think Boyles would have made the play.
We all know about the bad calls and stupid penalties that kept Texas’s drive(s) alive.
Just a couple of correct calls and OU would be 6-0.
