Question - JUCO Stud David Simms (DB)

Can anyone provide any updates on the status of this kid.... I remember Stoops thought this transfer was going to be a "big impact" player.

Sims still not enrolled at OU: Defensive coordinator Brent Venables said junior-college safety David Sims has still not finished his academic work at Butte (Calif.) College and thus not able to enroll at OU yet. He'd better hurry. Sims has until the end of the next week to make it to Norman, else he won't be allowed to enroll at OU for this semester and practice with the football team this season. (The Oklahoman)

This was posted on Sept 3. I did not find out if he made it in before then but after looking at the official roster, he was not on it.
