This doesn't deserve an independent thread...since when...maybe we should just have an October 11 games thread, that would cover all games...

68 yard Option run for TD. I wish we still had an option attack.

OSU's defense is the best that MU has faced this year...and they were 51st going into this game.

I do think the game is Stillwater is going to be damn tough.

I grew up in an OSU family. Of course, my family is not the "little brother" types who root against OU every week (except my sister and her brother in law, but that's another story). So don't blame me if I'm biased, but OSU is playing like the best team in the conference. You can't say "this game will measure their real talent" then decide to raise the bar after they win (if they don't clinch defeat from the jaws of victory) and claim that "Missouri has played nobody" and their win, ergo, is meaningless. If they win, of course. I've seen them be in this position too many times to believe they will actually pull it out.

Maybe it is just against teams from Oklahoma that Daniel loses his cool. OSU could still blow it but MU is on the verge of meltdown.

I am glad that I don't live up there right now, the Whorns that I deal with daily are much better than the Aggys that I worked with up there. My office up there had about 100 of them, my office here has 3 Whorns and most don't talk much.

See this is how it will happen:
Mizzou will beat Texas next week
and Oklahoma State will beat Texas the following week

We will go undefeated and "back our way" into the Big XII championship game, where we beat a 1-loss Missouri team after destroying an undefeated Oklahoma State team on Thanksgiving weekend.

Ohio State beats Penn State
Ohio State loses to Michigan State and Illinois
USC loses to Arizona
Alabama wins the SEC and we play our crimson game!!!

Just wait and see, their offense is better than Texas plus we will be playing them at home. Until something changes on defense teams of this level will have a very good chance of beating us. How we played Missouri last year was great and deserves recognition but just maybe we match up better in that situation.................

Well, I think with this win we can stop pointing to the 2 victories over the over hyped Tigers and their WAY overrated QB as proof BV is a mastermind who is ahead of his time. I'd say OSU stands a pretty good chance of pulling off that win over OU. It's not a bet I'd take.
